Quickchannels online video platform includes AI-assisted features designed to support video and content workflows, including: 

• speech-to-text transcription 
• text translation 
• subtitle generation 
• summarisation 
• chapter and content structuring 

These features are provided as assistive tools for it’s users.

2. Use of Artificial Intelligence 

Uploaded video, audio, transcript, and subtitle content may be processed using machine learning and large language model (LLM) technologies. 

Quickchannel AI features use a combination of: 

• speech recognition models for transcription 
• multilingual machine translation and large language models for translation 
• large language models for summarisation and content generation 

These models are operated on infrastructure controlled by Quickchannels and/or trusted infrastructure providers acting on Quickchannel’s behalf (https://quickchannel.com/gdpr). 

3. AI-Generated Outputs 

AI-generated outputs are automatically generated and probabilistic in nature. Outputs may: 

• contain inaccuracies or omissions 
• misinterpret context 
• generate incomplete or misleading summaries 
• vary depending on input quality 

Generated content should therefore be treated as draft material only. 

4. Human Oversight and User Control 

AI-generated outputs are subject to human review and user control unless instructed otherwise by the user. 

No AI-generated content is automatically published or made externally visible without user approval or pre-approval. 

Users are responsible for reviewing and approving generated outputs before reliance, publication and distribution. 

6. Data Usage 

Customer-uploaded content is processed solely for the purpose of providing the requested services and features. 

Unless explicitly agreed in writing: 

• customer data is not used to train foundation models or external AI models 
• customer content is not used for AI development purposes 

5. Intended Purpose 

Quickchannel AI features are intended to assist with: 

• productivity 
• transcript/subtitle handling 
• content navigation 
• editorial workflows 

They are not intended for: 

• legal advice 
• medical advice 
• employment decisions 
• creditworthiness assessments 
• biometric identification 
• other high-risk or regulated decision-making purposes 

7. Personal Data 

Uploaded content may contain personal data, including names, voices, images, or other identifying information. 

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have an appropriate legal basis for uploading and processing such content using Quickchannel’s services. 

8. Limitations and Responsible Use 

Users should independently verify AI-generated outputs before relying on them. 

AI features must not be used: 

• in violation of applicable laws or regulations 
• to generate deceptive or harmful content 
• in situations requiring guaranteed accuracy without human verification
