2025 Q2 product release

We’re back with a fresh round of product updates to enhance your Quickchannel experience. From faster video processing and usability boosts to smarter AI tools and improvements for Live Studio and Quickchannel Meeting. Here’s what’s new this quarter:

Improved video processing speed

We’ve upgraded our transcoding infrastructure, resulting in up to 40% faster video processing. This means your videos—from upload to playback-ready in all resolutions—are now available quicker than ever. Whether you’re publishing a library of on-demand content or streaming live, you’ll notice the difference.

Usability updates

The Quickchannel player has received several refinements:

  • Muted autoplay indicator: A clearer unmute button is now shown when videos autoplay with sound off—especially useful for live events, helping viewers recognize muted playback instantly.
  • Polished title overlay: The player’s title bar now features smoother, rounded corners across all embedded players for a more modern, consistent look.

AI Dictionary

Our AI subtitle generator (Vitas AI) just got smarter. You can now:

  • Add custom words—like specific names, industry jargon, or branded terms.
  • Improve subtitle accuracy by tailoring the AI’s recognition capabilities.

Simply enter your terms into the AI Dictionary, and they’ll be automatically integrated into your future transcriptions. This will help you save time with transcription work.

Live from tape

When replacing a video scheduled for a Live from tape broadcast, you’ll now receive a clear warning. This prevents accidental overwrites of content tied to upcoming events, helping you manage live session assets with confidence.

Live Studio – performance reminder

Live Studio has introduced a resource load warning:

When you begin sharing multiple sources—like camera feeds and screen shares—you’ll receive a prompt if system performance is at risk.
This helps ensure smooth, uninterrupted broadcasts by keeping source sharing within optimal limits.

Live Studio – event engagement tracker

Also in Live Studio, we’ve introduced an event engagement tracker. Though briefly mentioned, more details are likely coming soon—stay tuned for an in-depth look at how this feature will help you monitor and enhance viewer engagement in real time.

Quickchannel Meeting – security enhancements

Security within Quickchannel Meeting has been strengthened. Enhancements ensure safer collaboration environments, especially during sessions involving external guests or confidential discussions.

Quickchannel Meeting – agenda editing

Editing your meeting agenda is now easier. Improvements to the agenda editor offer better control over structure and flow—ensuring your meetings stay on point and participants stay aligned.

Clipsk integration

We’re also excited to share progress on the Clipsk integration. Although still evolving, this new integration is designed to streamline clip creation and distribution. More details will follow in upcoming updates.

That’s it for this quarter’s product roundup. As always, we’re committed to continuously improving your experience across the Quickchannel platform. Stay tuned for more exciting releases soon!
