To deliver the service, we use a limited number of sub-processors. These are divided into two clear setups that align with how we work with customers:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EU Only&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><\/strong>All required sub-processors&nbsp;are&nbsp;located&nbsp;in&nbsp;the EU, are European-owned, and have DPAs in place. In this setup, no data is transferred to or processed by services owned or&nbsp;operated&nbsp;outside the EU.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Global (optional)&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><\/strong>Customers can choose to enable&nbsp;additional&nbsp;functionality that relies on global providers. These are always optional and require explicit consent in the customer agreement and DPA.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sub-processors&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required sub-processors (EU Only)&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<br>These are always active and necessary to deliver the service. They are:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Located in the EU&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>European-owned&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Covered by Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>No data is transferred outside the EU in this setup.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Optional sub-processors (Global)&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<br>These are only used if the customer enables them. The most common are:<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Amazon (CloudFront CDN)<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Enables global content delivery. When activated, video data may be cached outside the EU to improve performance, and viewer IP addresses may be logged for a limited period.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Google (Chromecast)<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Enables Chromecast functionality in the player. This requires loading a Google plugin, which may result in viewer IP addresses being logged for a limited period.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Customer control&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers always decide whether to&nbsp;operate&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>EU Only<\/strong>&nbsp;mode or enable&nbsp;<strong>Global<\/strong>&nbsp;functionality.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>No optional sub-processors are used without explicit approval.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DPA&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quickchannel has DPAs in place with all sub-processors.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>When becoming a customer, you sign a DPA with Quickchannel that clearly defines which sub-processors are used.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-a89b3969 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-arrow-right\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-align-center wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/quickchannel.com\/en\/gdpr\/\">See all sub-processors<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We care about your data and transparency.
